This Privacy Policy explains how MigraineZero collects, uses, stores, and protects information
when you use the MigraineZero app and related support pages.
1. Information we collect
Account and identity information
We may collect your email address, login identifier, and authentication metadata needed to operate your account.
Health and tracking information
We collect the migraine records you choose to create, including symptoms, pain severity, pain zones,
medications, notes, survey responses, and timestamps.
Voice-related information
MigraineZero uses on-device speech recognition to convert your voice input into text. Raw audio is intended
to remain on the device. The resulting transcript text and any summary derived from it may be stored with your episode record.
HealthKit information
If you grant permission, MigraineZero may read selected Apple Health data, currently focused on sleep-related information,
to help provide recovery context and pattern review.
2. How we use information
To authenticate you and maintain your account session
To store and sync migraine records across supported sessions and devices
To generate summaries, insights, and clinician-friendly exports from the data you choose to record
To support app reliability, troubleshooting, and user support requests
3. On-device processing and synced data
Some processing happens on-device, including speech recognition where supported. Other information, including structured episode data,
notes, transcripts, medication logs, and preferences, may be synchronized to cloud infrastructure used by MigraineZero.
4. Service providers
MigraineZero currently uses third-party infrastructure providers to support authentication, data storage, and app hosting.
These providers may process data on our behalf only as needed to operate the service.
Current operational providers may include Supabase for authentication and database services and Cloudflare for static support-site hosting.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain your data for as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes,
and enforce our agreements. If account deletion or data deletion tools are introduced in-product, this policy may be updated to reflect them.
6. Children and minors
MigraineZero is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent,
contact support@migrainezero.org.
7. Medical disclaimer
MigraineZero supports tracking and pattern review only. It does not diagnose medical conditions, provide emergency response,
or prescribe treatment.
